Ok so this is very slightly misleading! Twick size is an incredibly simple site just takes your “vital statistics” and does a very quick calculation and comes back with how big your twick is. I entered my username and it came back as 10 inches, which I am strangely proud of.
The site was inspired by the following tweet from @secretsquirrel:
People need to stop making things like Twitterank and Twittemperature and just cut straight to Twitter Penis Size.
The site is a neat little idea, although completely useless it does give a bit of a novelty factor for atleast a few minutes. Have a look and let me know what you think in the comments.

The crunchies are the web technology awards put on by TechCrunch (amongst other partners). The awards are given to the top companies, CEO’s and products in the web technology space and is vote for entirely by the public. The top 5 from each category then get together for a nice ceromony.

Twitter has won the award for Best Startup Founders. A great category and well deserved by Jack, Ev and Biz. I think Twitter is an awesome tool (clearly as I am writing a blog on the topic). I feel in 2009 Twitter will grow from strength to strength

Twebay the site I reviewed a few weeks ago has changed its name. Paul Rawlings the developer has decided to change the name before the site received a take-down order from eBay, from which the name was totally ripped off.
But along with the name change comes some extra features like integration with PayPal and Google Checkout. Overall the site is coming along nicely.

Today we have seen 3 high profile Twitter accounts hacked and obscene or random status updates posted by the hackers. So far the following accounts have been hacked:
The attacks seem to be more than a coincidence and therefore Twitter have stepped in and released a blog post stating that they have solved the problem and are working on restoring these accounts.
To me the problem seems to be deeper than just stealing usernames and passwords. There could be a security hole somewhere. I am sure that the team at Twitter can plug the hole and find out who did it.
Update: The Twitter team have written a blog post on what has happened. As I suspected it was actually a person using the Twitter support system to change account email and therefore they could email the account password to themselves, change it and then log back in again.
The issue with these 33 accounts is different from the Phishing scam aimed at Twitter users this weekend. These accounts were compromised by an individual who hacked into some of the tools our support team uses to help people do things like edit the email address associated with their Twitter account when they can’t remember or get stuck. We considered this a very serious breach of security and immediately took the support tools offline. We’ll put them back only when they’re safe and secure.

Twply is a neat little service that alerts you to every @reply you get and sends an e-mail to your inbox. Need I say anymore?
Two things I will point out is that the people running the site aren’t very good at English and they keep asking for donations on every page.
Update: Please beware that there has been a lot of news going round the web that Twply has been spamming by using twitter usernames and passwords. Use at your own risk. Also the site was sold for $1200 just hours after it was launched.
